In August 2000, an initiative was launched to improve and standardize SpO2 monitoring organization wide. Mr. Griswold was asked to evaluate, and interface existing recorders and remote alarm systems, to Pulse Oximeters from three manufactures.
In December 2001,
Mr. Griswold served on several committees and task forces preparing for standardization and upgrade of all physiological monitoring.
In April 2005, all physiological monitors were replaced with on-board Masimo SpO2, organization wide.
Mr. Griswold has been involved with the planning and installation in all stages.
